Default Why theres so many Hispanic countries?

If you noticed the Portuguese and English empire tend to keep themselves, rather than separating into several countries. also several Spanish region would break themselves apart If they legally could like Basque country and Catalonia and possibly Castilla?

We all have one thing in common corruption Is it a Iberian mindset?

English colonists came to the New World for religious freedom. Their came with their wives and kids. Birthrates were extremely high, and they were very endogamous. Iberians came for the promise of wealth, without women so they intermarried with the natives. I don't think they ever planned on making the New World their new home, but the English knew they would probably never see their home countries again.

Easy, because the powers at be at Westminster willed it so. This region being broken up among many rump statelets would be easy prey for their traders (legal or otherwise), allowing Albion to exert the same influence over these countries as if we were their colonies without bearing the costs of actually managing all this.

The Andes played a major role in the case of South America. It laid the foundation for the creation of new nations with distinguishable traits setting them apart from one another.
