The 'mythical' white & off-white Mexicans [ Phenotypes ]

Visigothics as a defined group in Spain disappeared more than 1200 years ago. If majority of these people are of spanish colonial origin, I don't know, probably they 'keep to themselves', avoiding to mix with other groups like indians or mestizos.

They are very selective with people they marry and procreate, if you know what I mean.

In fact sometimes I've heard white mexicans are a bit racist towards non white mexicans.

Tbh theres a lot theories about this "gringo" Ive seen plenty of videos of him in Mexico and honestly I noticed hes features doesnt appear to me 100% anglo theres deff something off, like maybe med or amerindian or part mexican or could be even some SSA ( the lips) some where in the blood lines.

Interesting thread.

One thing I noticed: they look significantly more northern shifted than average white Brazilians.

Their faces have a more western vibe, are more northern shifted, they display more light hair and eyes than Brazil's average white stock.

It gives me the impression that the Spanish stock of Mexico is mainly of "Visigothic" origins, a.k.a lighter than average Iberians.

They look lighter than the actors from the Mexican telenovelas that air here for decades, on SBT.

It is also worth remembering that in Mexican novelas there are many white Cuban and Argentine actors.

There are many off-white ones posted. The last two for example; I know for a fact have an important amount of Amerindian ancestry, yet, people see them generally as white. To me that is an off-white. Canelo is another good example.
