I used to make these threads for fun trolling but as an albanian “muslim” i would say eradicate every single religion in balkans starting with islam and orthodoxy first. I mean it should be against the law to practice or preach religion in balkans. Balkans as whole has enough old-school mentality and old school morals and religion will only be destructive if not death-sentence.

Islam was a decent fit for nomadic tribes living in the desert. Better than pagan beliefs, certainly.

But for settled populations is a hefty baggage. It's sad that coastal Levant was forcefully Islamized. Same with Anatolians. Luckily, Islamization failed big in the Balkans.
