Why can't anyone help me with my music career?

I been plugging along for 20 years and I still don't have a manager. Most of my commercial work has only been in the last decade or so, but I am still not really getting much out of it. I want to start touring again soon and sell more records. If someone famous recorded my song it may open doors for me so I could open up for them. I don't fit into the Nashville style now. I don't know where to go. I wish someone would help me and show me how to get out of the rut . I wouldn't mind performing at a theme park if I could do regular shows and get paid, I would be happy.

Do you honestly think with your internet presence you'll have a paying music career?

Do art for art's sake. It's very rare for people to be paid for their creative work.

Now that I think about it you should be a street performer. You'll certainly get paid. They can make good money.

Street performances is not safe anymore. Also I don't have much internet presence. I just have a youtube channel. I will try out for more talent shows.

Shit, go to Nashville, meet other like-minded hip-hop-free lyricists and composers, partner with them and write songs, convince them and the producers that you can sing and sell non-rap, non-Britney Spears country western to the public, hell, you could also get discovered at one of the many small clubs there.

I wonder too. You are so good, Im surprised you arent famous by now. Maybe you could try to send your tapes or records to producers, managers etc. and they will "discover you".
