Default Classify Puerto Rican American, Ramon Rodriguez.

Someone on Anthroscape said he looks off-white and could pass as European. Do you agree?

I'd take him, if I saw him here, as Cape Verdean.

You're right, but they appear to have the same admixture rates as African Americans (20% Euro) rather than like this Puerto Rican guy who is pred Caucasoid and also appears to have slight Native influence which would be unthinkable in Cape Verde.

Those pictures must not be representative, because the average Cape Verdean in the US (unmixed with other ethnicities) does not look that black.

I saw two Cape Verdeans in my life, one in Lisbon and one in Rio de janeiro. One was black and the other was a mulatto. I asked for him, who lives in Rio and he told me that Cape Verdeans are black or mulatto. Unlike Angola and Mozambique where I've met white minorities

and this Puerto Rican is unlike the Cape Verdeans who I met.

He doesn't look European either way and could not pass as one, whether or not you guys agree with me or not that I think he could pass as Cape Verdean.
