They do. In fact: Saddam got thrown out of Kuwait, the Dayton Agreements ended much of the Yugoslavian Wars, Milošević ended up no longer being able to genocide the Kosovar Albanians, Saddam was deposed, Bin Laden is at the bottom of the ocean. Thanks to the UN, not the whole of Korea is communist and, another miracle of international law and under an international tribunal: the Nazi's got tried and executed. They also stabilised Cambodia and Lebanon while they were at it, at the time.

Now. This doesn't mean that I don't criticise the execution of the Afghanistan and Iraq Wars. The ways in which they were executed was horrific and those responsible should have been brought before the ICC. But they were legal interventions. Legal under international law and with the full support pf the entire Security Council.

The reason why I point this out is to show the legal and moral difference between what happened in Afghanistan and Iraq, and what happened in Georgia and today happens in Ukraine. The first two were legal interventions, as backed by the U.N under international law. The other two are wars of aggression which have been fought and are fought without legal justification.

In other words: I hold those who criticise the interventions in Iraq and Afghanistan, but, turn a blind eye to the situation in Georgia in 2008 and Ukraine from 2014 to today, to be morally abject and complete utter hypocrites and if people wonder why when these people give their blessing to an aggressor and criticise the ones protecting the victim of said aggression, when the West does its legal objection under international law to protect the victim of naked aggression , I call these people traitors, it's because, they, frankly, are.

In Ukrainian case the aggressors are Ukraine and the US and its NATO vassals backing them up. The Russian intervention was in response to years of non-stop provocations from Ukraine and its allies, during and after the Maidan coup, and not respecting the Minsk agreements. After years of shelling and systematic genocide committed by the current Ukrainian government against ethnic Russians in Donbass, and other majority ethnic Russian/Russian speaking areas in eastern and southern Ukraine, while being backed up by US and its vassals. All because of their previous insistence of joining Ukraine to NATO in order to put Russia's security in Jeopardy (something equivalent to wanting to join Canada or Mexico to a military alliance antagonist to US, and pretending that US don't say a word about it).

Russians didn't start their military intervention out of the blue without any previous provocation, because "they wanna conquer the world" like the mainstream media make believe to naive people with sheep mentality like you.
