There are still few places which will pollute Baltic Sea badly (after Finns and Swedes built new waste water system to St. Petersburg).

Kaliningrad is one of those (having no waste warter handling systems), and then there are few factories close to sea (fertilizer chemicals etc.) in Russia.

If Russia launches a full-scale, brutal invasion of Ukraine - we can probably expect even up to 20 million (!!!) Ukrainian refugees escaping to Poland.

What for? What for do we need so many people, so many refugees? How are we going to provide housing and jobs for them?

It is better if we just merge a territory inhabited by these 20 million Ukrainians with Poland. They will automatically become part of the EU and NATO.

Therefore - as I wrote above - we don't need just people (refugees etc.), we need people + territory where they currently live.

Russia will not do that. They need only some heads. Threat is better than implementation.

I was under the impression that the present Ukrainian regime was much more democratic and transparent than before, but the more I learn about it the more I wonder if they are just equally corrupt in a different way.

The survey says that 72% of Ukrainians consider Russia a hostile country and only 12% a friendly one, which would lead one to believe that pro-Russia support has waned considerably since 8 years ago. But that is also only if we trust the results of the survey.

Let's be honest there are no democracies in this world just oligarchic republics where people can vote for candidates who were selected by big companies and/or oligarchs. The elites then make propaganda for these candidates and if their favorite candidate does not win they fake the elections or say the elections were not done "correctly". This is true for America, Europe, Ukraine and Russia. Especially Ukaine as one of the most corrupt on this planet has not really any democratic institutions. The entire state apparatus is a shit show even compared to the already corrupt Russian state. Also the West fuelled endless money via NGOs to shill for anti-Russian, woke and pro-American propaganda.

I don't doubt that most Ukrainians "fear" Russia because of all propaganda on TV and the banning/censoring of opposition media. Ukraine does not really have freedom of press. Only freedom for various kind of pro-american opinions. But i still dont take polls seriously because they are often faked or manipulated to make again propaganda.

I trusted that Putin would honor his treaty alliances with Armenia; instead, he helped Azerbaijan force Armenia to sign a crippling & humiliating surrender, in 2020. I thought he'd do what he's doing now, in the Ukraine; instead, he wouldn't lift a finger, while Turkey & Azerbaijan ganged up against their neighbor. Well, I guess that helping Armenia to surrender is kind of helping. I'm very disappointed with Putin.

It's realy doubtful statement and weak insult. Usually Russian trolls insult Ukrainians this way about cleaning Polish public toilets. Provincial Russians rarely go abroad in search of such job, most of them concentrate in Moscow, Petersburg and few other big cities in a search of employment, but still low key jobs are for migrants, Russians avoid some jobs usually.
