On an autosomal level, Albanians are more "northern" than Greeks, because all modern Greeks have Anatolian/Iranian/Levantine admixture (big or small).

Greek Islanders diverged from the rest of Greeks in medieval times. The divergence effect was a result of Moorish and Caracen raids and settlement into the Islands. There are arabic toponyms today on the Islands like Saracenico, and other Arab related names. The mainland Greeks deschend from classical and early hellenistic Greeks.

I beg to differ. Mycenaean Greek samples plot directly with modern Greek islanders, NOT with mainland Greeks. In fact, island Greeks have very little foreign influence compared to mainland Greeks who have some degree of south-Slavic influence:

The first three examples could pass as lighter-skinned West Asians, especially the Neolithic girl example. And this only shows their natural skin color. Given the time period and location, I have no doubts that they were all darker than the examples show because they would tan.

The West Asian part that all modern Greeks have (ranging from 100% to small bits) is almost entirely of the Iranocaucasian/Anatolian variety (going by 23ame categories) and not of the Levantine-Arab-North_African, which is what that group is pushing.

Anatolians really were gods on earth considering that they produced ionians and etruscans,the foundation for western civilization,and rome was just a knockoff of etruscans and ionians.
It seems that there was are a reason so many genetic samples of Roman senators and patricians match so closely with Anatolians.

Etruscan culture influenced Romans but wasn't the foundation of Roman civilization. Btw, has it even been confirmed Etruscans were Anatolian?
