Which part of the US has the darkest Whites?

The average White American of German or Anglo descent isn't particularly dark. Yes, there are a lot of Italian Americans, for example, but I would bet that dark brown hair, brown eyes and olive skin must be pretty rare among Whites in the US.

Which part has a significant population of "darker Whites" though?

Probably the Northeast (New York, Massachusetts...) due to Southern European migration?

I don't think America has any specific parts that contains the swarthiest white population that none of us would consider white. Most guidos in the Northeast are five or six generations removed from Ellis Island, they don't speak Italian, their name got warped over time into an English sounding name, they've more or less fully assimilated.

In fact, whites from the most racially diverse areas in the Northeast actually stand out in a crowd full of Jews, negroes, and browns.



I think more White Americans have blue eyes than real Brits, but if you take away the White Southerners, it is about equal.

Florida, Texas and California also.
Not only because they have a lot of sunshine and tanned people. They also have a lot of White Latinos.
A Mediterranean look isn't seen as something "special" in the US.
