I also found his 4.5 mil euro villa in Italy highly contentious.
I guess he planned to use it as a bunker in the case of a Russian front opening in Tuscany What a stalwart European hero, he's ready to fight the globalists even abroad

Zelensky is now begging Israeli to help him, and he used the "it's another Holocaust happening now!" card, because he naively thinks that as a Jew, he would got support from other Jews
While Israeli Jews are highly ethnocentric and were upset that he compared this war with Holocaust (for two reasons : factually, it's a war ok but there are no massacres, genocides; and secondly, because Israeli Jews see themselves as Chosen People, goyim are just cattle, and their suffering is nothing, it is an insult for them to compare these deaths with dead Jews, it would be like comparing every year millions of chickens are killed with human lives...)
+ there is a big Russian community in Israel, that wants to keep good ties with Russia
+ most Ukrainian Jews already escaped from Ukraine, so it doesn't matter for them anymore if goyim kill each others
+ most right-wing Israeli (from Likud up to far right) rather like strong leaders, like Putin or Trump; they probably don't support war but are desensitized from "emotional" support for Ukraine (same process for Palestinians)

I think people made distinctions between the Ukrainian people and their corrupt kleptocratic leader Zelensky - the former are worthy recipients of empathy while the latter definitely isn't.
After the CCCP collapse Ukraine has served as backwater for all kind of shady activities, including rings of prostitution, child trafficking, drugs, racketeering, money laundering and so on. This hasn't changed after the Maidan putsch and the reason why Ukraine keeps persisting as a failed country is because it is in the chokehold of oligarchic kleptocrats like Zelensky, who spew pro-Ukrainian rhetorics while engaging in the plundering of state assets.
I am yet to see an Ukrainian government that is interested in establishing rule of law and democratic due processes. You must understand that pro-Kremlin or pro-Western changes little in the face of such deeply entrenched corruption.
