North Macedonia.

Macedonians are one of my favorite people. They are open, friendly and they like Serbs (and vise versa). We have common history since middle age, and we lived in the same country until 1991/92. I know significant number of Macedonians and people with Macedonian roots from real life who live in Serbia. Few of them are in marriages with some my cousins. Serbian and Macedonian language are close and we can understand each other quite good (Serbian is the closest language to Macedonian after Bulgarian).
North Macedonia is more interesting to me natural-geographical and cultural-historical.

I don't know enough about Moldovans, and same goes for Serbs in general. We even don't know enough about Romanians who are our neighbors, let alone Moldovans.

Yea, reminds on Belgrade. It is wide like New Belgrade and buildings are more similar to old part Belgrade.

Yeah, like smaller Belgrade, without Danube and Sava rivers.

Not a fair comparison, North Macedonia is rich in historical monuments, including the city of Ohrid with his old churches, in today RM something like this did not exist except an old medieval monastery and an medieval fortress, and this is because historically was always a peripheral region of old Moldavian state, less developed do to vulnerability of being invaded many times by Tatar hordes from east and south. Almost entire political, administrative, cultural and religious core of old Moldavian state was concentrated in the north-west part of the Principality (today Suceava(South Bukovina), Neamț, Botoșani and Iași counties in Romania).

This fortress is from Bender, and is a Ottoman fortification, now is controlled by Transnistria. Soroca fortress is a proper Moldavian fortification, the only one controlled today by RM, other two major fortifications from the region (Khotyn and Cetatea Albă/Bilhorod-Dnistrovsk) are contrloled by Ukraine.

There is a saying: "don't dance through Serbia", don't sing through Bosnia, and through Macedonia don't dance and sing."

It means Serbians (Serbs of Serbia) are very good in dance, Bosnians are very good singers, Macedonians are very good both dancers and singers, and if you try that in those countries you will be ashamed of failure in comparison with them.
