However just giving up on the world and leaving a huge void for someone to fill is just plain retarded. That and he's becoming increasingly libertarian on the issue of borders over the years. I even heard him once advocating open borders once we abolish the welfare state. Very frightening.

Too bad we don't have any decent choices now in the Republican field.
What's instructive is the people that like Paul - people who think saving money is the be all and end all of life - people who think that the US, and specifically US foreign policy, is evil - aggressive, malevolent whackos the world over who are waiting for an American retreat so they can start bullying and attacking their neighbors.

The Pax Americana has brought almost seven decades of relative peace free of another world war. No one in his right mind will believe a post-American world will be less violent or less scary.

As much as Arabs and Jews hate each other, they realize that they have much more in common with each other as Semitic brothers than they do with Persia.
Referring to Jews/Arabs as Semitic brothers just doesn't seem right to me. I know Jews have a lot in common racially with other Levantine people, who are also Arabs these days, but why do Jews feel a special relationship with Arabs from Saudi Arabia, Yemen, Oman? Just because their languages belong to the same language family?

After the Romans conquered Jerusalem several centuries ago, the Jewish people were scattered into a diaspora. Since then, Jewish people have lived among Syrians, Iraqis, Yemenis, Saudis and even Moroccans, they were all over the Middle East and North Africa, and they adopted cultural customs from those people. Of course, Jews are closest to the Levantines but some Jews (depending on where they came from when Israel was created) can certainly feel closer to people from those other nations because of their ancestral ties to those places. There are Moroccan Jews and Yemeni Jews for example, just as there are Ashkenazi and Sephardi Jews.

They are stupid and reckless because they let European and Europid boys die in pointless wars that only benefit a couple of big banks (from which certainly a couple would be Jew owned) and big companies as well as Israel and Israel alone.

Evil because few Jewish boys go to war and get killed while it is that group that benefits the most as a whole. Even more evil because they play out groups within society for their own benefit after their predecessors had come up with a completely different (and just as damaging) ideology.
Jews in Israel fight but the ones around the world are spineless cowards except for Goldberg and A-Train, lol.

That's not actually his position. He's all for free trade and diplomacy. He's just against wasting a bunch of money on useless military bases and pointless wars that only cost a bunch of money and piss people off and do us no good.

Who got all the mining contracts in Afghanistan? China. Who got all the oil contracts in Iraq? None went to American companies. Secular regimes in the middle east and north Africa have been replaced by 'democracies' which elect radical muslim extremists. Great job, interventionists!

Well yes, if we got rid of all the welfare and other public benefits & services, affirmative action, and civil rights like he proposes, then we wouldn't have much of a problem of the entire third world trying to move here. We would probably even see most of our domestic delinquents depart for countries which have welfare and socialized medicine.

He also opposes birthright citizenship, and has said we would be better off using our military on the US-Mexico border than to police the Afghan-Pakistani border.

This was the man that the media told us was nuts. The same media that cheered the invasion of Iraq.
