Yo tengo en el PC viejo los números de kit de Gedmatch de individuos usados en algún estudio, posiblemente los mismos con los que se hicieron muchas de las referencias de Vahaduo, y que se usan en PCAs del K15 etc.

Como me ha parecido entender que los tienes tú también, no sé si serás el que me los pasó o si eres otro de AG u otro que me contactó por correo a través del proyecto de Gedmatch y al que le pasé los números de kit (la mayoría catalanes, valencianos y de las Baleares).

Fui mirando uno a uno, y muchos de ellos se eliminaron de Gedmatch, o al menos, se ha limitado el acceso a sus resultados.

Pero hay bastante variación entre todas esas zonas del este peninsular, con esas referencias prácticamente se puede modelar con muy buenas distancias a cualquier español o portugués.

Creo que esos mismos individuos son los que se usaron para las referencias del G25, ahí sí que es más obvio que son muy dispares (porcentajes de esas referencias nos salen a mis padres o a mí, que no tenemos ningún antepasado conocido en esas zonas) incluso admitiendo cierta tendencia "mediterránea" y al norte cierta influencia más "centroeuropea".

You're the one being paranoid here because the Catalan independence movement is way older than the "discovery" of genes. And what you say is senseless because everyone can use Google and check that Spain has among the greatest regional variability in Europe. Even excluding Basques, the Spanish internal diversity is greater than that between the British Isles, Germany and the Benelux all together.
There is also differences among Castilian speaking regions, not to mention between Catalans, Galicians and Basques. The mere idea that a multiethnic state spanning 500k km² is genetically homogeneous is ridiculous. Same goes for all other modern European states created during the revolutions of mid XIX century.

My experience is that pure Catalans are not publishing, the reason I have already explained and I think it is possible that you were looking for flattering your ears with the genetic differences of the Catalans, sorry that section is reserved for the Basques.

We maybe could considerate the Pirineu reference as "pure Catalonian" that is the reference with less NA among the references from Catalonia in G25 datasheet.

The North Aragón reference from the study "Basques and peri-Basques" could be a good one also, but as any Spanish reference with few "external" influences use to be Basque-type.

Similar thing that happens (by now) with BA and IA Iberian references.
