In your country/culture, where do you say someone should move to that is really far away and remote?

Have never heard that before, had to look up where Thursday Island is. In Australia to refer to somewhere in the middle of nowhere people say they're in/going to Woop Woop, which isn't a real place.

We also use Conchinchina as a specific location on the globe, only recently i learnt it means Vietnam.

I notice you people use "cara amarrada" much, we also do over here.

The equivalent to ""cara-de-pau" here would be caradura (boldfaced), more or less.
