Default British economy post brexit - how does it look?

"The full economic consequences of Brexit are just beginning and are currently difficult to untangle from the impact of Covid-19. However, from the data that can be examined, the short-term effects leave little cause for optimism."

All the projections of Mainstream media and Politics so far as usual have be proven to be alarmist and wrong.

If Brexit will be a story of success, that's the best thing that can happen to "our" camp and fuel euroscepticism.

Germany is still in the EU and economically completely fucked.

If covid didn't happen the British pound would have been weakest in ages.
The vaccines and this sector boosted the economy and value of pound.

Imagine I used to pay 670 euros per rent in 2020 now it's 736 euros in 2022.

I don't know about other sectors, but its for sure it was pretty hard for small businesses.

I have virtually stopped buying or ordering products from the UK. Not that I wanted to but what I have to pay in duties (plus the 23% added VAT) to clear the goods in customs have made the whole process a major hassle that is simply not worth it anymore (and like myself probably millions of other potential EU consumers in the same situation).

As always it depends on how you manage the situation. More sovereignty is always good but even if the economic consequences are bad (which aren't), this can actually be very good news if they're taken advantage of, specially considering that the enemy is at home.
    More unemployment? Expel immigrants.
Less exports? Less money for globalists.
Slower GDP grow? Perfect because this is driven mainly by the increase of population via immigration. Focus on the GDP/capita and the well-being of the natives.
Less foreign investment? Less dependent on foreign vultures.
Inflation? Legislate so it doesn't affect your people while the enemy sectors of the population and big companies take the hit.

Same here, and some other things like Yorkshire Tea have gone up so much here that you only find them in certain shops. None of them in my area. Consequently, I stopped buying British products. Our own inflation is bad enough.

Wake up and smell the coffee.
