Bro, geniuses are misunderstood. Spinoza believed in God but it was verging on pantheism like Einstein. The God of Spinoza is a very different God than the humanlike God depicted in the Bible. For Spinoza, self-centered humans confuse God’s nature with human nature, as they anthropomorphize God with human characteristics and a human personality; for example being angry and punitive with the disobedient, and pleased and rewarding with the obedient. In one of Spinoza’s correspondences, he poked fun at anthropomorphic self-centered assumptions about God, with that quote. He was not equating the holy Trinity with dogs you completely miss the point of his analogy he used the dog star Sirius constellation because : Deus sive Natura .

It is OK to honestly debate about eachs own ideas about God. It should be Welcomed.
God as nature is also a blesphemy, although nature is sacred but why we call something as supreme and good/all good? this gotta be supranatural in all respect. And it is true that using human perception to probe God is doomed to fail but not at all futile since we are human beings we must start out as what we are. We are flawed as human beings and each one of us is not exceptionally important to Christ like all flies are the same to us. When we make distinguishment on the species, we also allot to them different names and significances in the whole system of biosphere, but this distinguishment does not affect the ways of their lives and faith as an individual. Whatever we do, we have to see all human beings absolutely equal to Christ to start with the true faith in Christ. We do not make distinctions of our own as individuals in virtue to Christ like do not a fly, a chicken, a bird in their respective species. But, when we come togather as a species in this common faith, we distinguish ourselves to Christ as a species, like eagles VS chickens; whales vs sharks...We can draw on nature in to interprete the gospel, better and better, but Christ is supranatural.
