The difference is Germany is under american military occupation, they have no own foreign policy, this is not true for England which is a sovereign country. I would not call Germany as puppet state, its just an occupied american military zone or a colony as you wish.

Hmm I think the geopolitical interests of the UK and USA simply correlate but the UK often fought wars of sovereign interests that did not involved the USA, which makes it pretty special when it comes to all nations of Europe that never did that.

At the end, no matter how many Germans and Brits dont want to realize it, we are closer to each other than towards most populations in Europe.

No, England is just puppet of USA, if they are staying then the american influence would have been bigger in EU for sure. Continental european hegemony for germans and the other parts of world for english, it was always the "deal". Im happy that England is not EU member anymore, i dont like atlantism and the anglo-saxon influence in Europe because its closely related to american culture which is harmful to various unique european cultures that should be preserved.

Whilst that is mostly true, two world wars will tend to dampen such feelings of closeness.

I know there are many similarity, but i dont trust them. Although i like many things in England or USA but im talking about only their politicians. It seems to me that the anglo-saxon culture merged with globalism. I would rather see a german-russian dominated Europe.

English is this era's lingua franca, but if I had the option to be understood by other peoples using a different language, I'd surely do it.

Problem is that you would not ignore them-us. Palestinians, Chinese, Argentines, Spaniards, Chileans, Tanzanians, Indians, Australian aborigenes, Irish, French, Mexicans, etc etc did not speak English, yet you put your noses there.
