I live in Germany and for some time I have been wondering which of all the Germanic countries is the best.
What is your opinion?

Life expectancy is quite similar, I would imagine.

As for height, the Dutch are the clear winners here. But the Swedes and other Scandinavians also tall. But Dutch the tallest in Europe.

Are southern Scandinavians taller than northern Germans (Germany)?

I would have thought that the average Schleswig-Holsteiner is the same height as a Dutchman, and probs slightly taller than your average Swede. However, my cousin's wife is from near the Danish border and none of her family are 'groß'. This is very much a wide assumption.

Very interesting, because I always imagined: "More north = taller, stronger, better people."
