Default Can a woman be a Knight?

Do you agree with women being Knights? Is that not a contradiction to what a Knight is in the traditionel sense? Maybe a woman has other roles that she is a shield maid or something but Knight?

What is the order of the Garter ??
In medieval times, King Edward III was so inspired by tales of King Arthur and the chivalry of the Knights of the Round Table that he set up his own group of honourable knights, called the Order of the Garter. Nearly 700 years later, the Order is the oldest and most senior Order of Chivalry in Britain. The Knights, now both male and female, used to be limited to aristocracy, but today they are chosen from a variety of backgrounds, in recognition for their public service ❤️

Women can't be knights. Instead, they are dames. For example, the actress, Dame Judi Dench.

Yes I agree, but Dame has other roles and other codex and virtues, like restraint, caritative work maybe charitable work etc. She doesnt wear Knight gear and weapons etc. Now the article says both males and females are nowadays KNIGHTS, they dont say they are dames. Dame has other meaning and other virtues, codex and acts differently then Knight. It says clearly women are Knights.

Yes that is a argument, but I think those were isolated few cases, because it was neccessary, like the principle is that you inherit the fathers surname and the son inherits the father, but if the family has no son, maybe the daughter in isolated cases needs to be the inheritant etc. that is similar, it was not the rule, nowadays it is the rule, it is open generally to women, and it is the rule not the exception. and historians, scientists nowadays try to prove the genderism ideology, there is a article that vikings were trans too. leading historians claim such things from a historical perspective, but there are also biologists, nature scientists etc. who claim it is natural and normal.

If that's what the article says, it's wrong. Women can be members of the Order of the Garter, known as Ladies Companion, with the title of Dame.

These days, knighthoods are given to criminals such as Tony Blair, who was recently admitted to the Order of the Garter, simply for being a former prime minister. I think it's fair to say that the term has lost its original meaning.

    Only in holywood it can.

According to Holywood even niggers can be European knights...The fact that no niggers lived in Europe at that time doesnt matter for the woke-creeps apparently.
