As a whole, do Egyptians look more similar to Turks or Pakistanis?

A friend of mine who isn't especially into anthro stuff visited Egypt, and he told me that the people there were on the whole a lot lighter-skinned than he expected and (to use his words, not mine) look more like Spaniards than Indians.

Where did he go? I've been there twice ( hurghada) and imagine otherwise.

I cannot remember, but I think mostly the northern coast. (He went scuba-diving there IIRC).

None. Egyptians are too SSA to look similar to Turks and Pakistanis.

I think people have a very warped view of both Spaniards ( people think they all look like busquets when in reality your average Spaniard looks like Fernando Torres, and a warped a view about Indians, everyone thinks they look like a south Indian Tamil).

To answer the question it's obviously Pakistan, why? Just based on the the fact that both counties have iranic groups ( Kurds and pashtuns/Baloch). Also Turks and Pakistanis share robust features with slight turanid admxiture, whereas with Egypt they don't share any particular phenotype. Pure meds are not present in either country as far I know, I've been to both.
