    Default I'm Losing My Mind

I thought that Billy Idol was part Irish. Wikipedia said that his dad and mom were devoted Anglicans, with no word on Ireland at all. I remember "Chick-fil-A" as "Chic-fil-A", and we used the word "chic" when we passed it at the mall food court, so do you guys have similar experiences? I blame CERN for the new "k".

I wouldn't trust wikipedia if they told me the sky was blue. However there's nothing to stop ethnic Irish being Anglican, and his mother's maiden name was O'Sullivan.
    Spoiler!

Wikipedia is terrible for anything political, historical, or about famous (and infamous) people. I can't count how many times I've checked the footnotes of an article and what is said in the article isn't in the source cited. Check the footnote for his parents' supposed Anglican piety (I know you don't care. I know it's part of the joke.)

Another mystery is solved. I take it that those weren't the Scottish O'Sullivans.

I feel ya, broski...I remember the “chic” spelling...as well as growing up reading the Berenstein bears. I remember being a kid and making some joke to my sister that they must be Jewish.

Oh, Wikipedia is as unbiased as the DNC MSM. I tried to sneak in a thread about the Mandela Effect with the hope of cool stories from some forum All Stars like Celestia and Ellethwyn.

Thank you! We wondered why the chicken was described as chic.

I remember Fruit of the Loom logo had a cornucopia... i even asked my mom when i was 7 what it was, and she said, "a cornucopia". I thought it was such an interesting word.

You know what they say. "Life was like a box of chocolates", which is *wrong*!
