There's no big difference between mongoloid types. Half asian mixes will always look intermediate, no matter what the mongoloid type was. Unless the mongoloid type was a fully unreduced caucasian-emulating type. Which is hard to find nowadays among Eastern Eurasians unfortunately..

messi never seemed asian influenced to me tbh. but Op clearly has some asian mixture going around his eye level. you can see messi are deep socket style eyes, and has a KN nose.

Maltese, Italian (south and central Italian), Sicily, and might overlap with some Greeks and Romanians ( I know a Romanian guy that lives in Miami that looks similar to him)
