Which one do you consider yourself close to?


Ethnic Russians and European Russia, or ethnic Japanese and Japan?






Note: I have personally excluded Caucasus, Volga-Ural, Siberia and Far East regions, but left only European Russian, where ethnic Russians live predominantly.

The regions you excluded are also a part of Russia, they are and they want to be Russian, Russia is much more than just ethnic Russians, for example Komi "beauties", are you ashamed of your own country?


Anyways, my answer is neither, I am not close to any of these countries by any means

Funny thing that.

Of course, genetically I would be close to Russians and no doubt there would actually be many distant cousins living in Leningrad Oblast and further up North as well.

But.
My ‘bestest’, closest gfs and a couple of close male friends too have been Japanese.
This happened last time I went to Finland as well. For some reason, with the Japanese lady I met there we had ourselves an instant rapport that really stood out and took me aback a bit.
So I would have to say Japan.

I have a lot more things in common to Russians than to the Japanese. While both feel ethnically alien to me, Japan feels culturally and psychologically alien. While I don't know if there would be so many differences in the treatment of a western foreigner from South America in the two places, I would surely be more able to bond with Russians and to walk their streets without getting weird looks.

I like Putin, Dostoevsky, but Japan is a real brother to me, a cousin like India and Pakistan, also the wilful racialism is disgusting and a betrayal of the real human characters, so give you the land and give us the people. God bless.

Russia.

Russians are fellow Europeans, although I wouldn't live in any of those countries (compared to Japan the quality of life in Eastern Europe is abysmal), we can't blame them for their Soviet past since ethnic Russians suffered way more than anyone from it, plus their Whiteness is not questionable. The Nazis seem to have acknowledged the Russians as being Aryans themselves.
