Problem is, these are not the "good" Russians. It's anti-Putin liberals who are not able to get into EU countries, and also young men who are not patriotic enough to do their military service, draft dodgers. I wouldn't be so proud of them...
I've seen some video where these Russians say they know Serbians are very pro-Russian, pro-Putin, and pro special military operation in Ukraine, that they try to hide it from Serbs. Hide their lack of patriotism. Be careful of these guys...

'Drugosrbijanci' are worried for some FSB agents inserted in them. But they are aware significant part of them are their like-minded people (pro-western, anti-Putin etc). Some 'drugosrbijanci' say how Serbia becoming a center of anti-Putin Russian emigration, and they support that of course. That's and exaggeration.

Something off topic. Serbian journalist Miodrag Zarković was several months in Donbass in the spring and summer, and he is again there in the last 20 days. He say in Donetks and Moscow local when heard someone is Serb are delighted and ready to help, in Crimea they are mostly neutral, and in Rostov they don't care and in general they are rude towards any foreigners. These are obvious some local differences in mentality.

According to Serbian media most of the Russians who are currently in Serbia arrived before mobilization was proclaimed. Also there are many IT experts among them, and until June they registered over 1000 companies in Serbia https://www.serbianmonitor.com/en/ru...000-companies/
As the reason for their arrival are cited: visa-free regime between Russia and Serbia, difficulties for work in Russia for IT experts since late February due to stronger western sanctions against Russia, and huge rusophilia in Serbia (vast majority of Serbs see Russians as brothers not as foreigners, and in the western countries heavy anti-Russian hysteria is present since February 24 this year).

Yeh they cannot receive payments from foreign employers to their Russian cards (Visa, Mastercard), so they open Serbian cards and accounts in some Serbian banks. Again, any kind of "Russophilia in Serbia" is the last reason why they arrive. You're temporary and transit state both for majority of Syrian refugees and Russian escapees and I would be happy with it if I was Serb.

They will help increase the Slavic admixture among Serbs, that's good
