That is correct. The katana had very little effect on the Viking chain mail. Only about 2 or 3 rings came loose. That was it. The never even talked about the Samurai armor. The Viking spear head was hitting the 8 inch thick wood target and going through it another 4 to 6 inches, which would have easily penetrated any Samurai armor.

This show was such BS. I guess that, based on their findings, that is why the Japanese ruled so much of Europe.
