Default Non-native English speakers, can you understand these American accents?

Some users used these regional American accents as examples of American accents that wouldn't be hard to understand. They said that native English-speakers would also have trouble understanding unless it was their accent, although I don't find that true to be at all. So I'm wondering if non-native English speakers are able to understand it.

    Some type of Southern accent
