I didn't say that they were not, I just couldn't find better words to describe it without being misleading.
In any society, what percentage of people are considered ruling class?
I personally think ruling classes are always a very small minority in any given society, it is a pyramid. The majority of the population are at the base of the pyramid numerically speaking and economically too.

    Oh, I see.

Well, it's looked at a bit differently though. In every small town there is a known capitalist if you want to call them that. Everybody respects him/her and they aren't really doing anything bad IMO. They aren't charlatans or anything. No big banks like you see in the West etc..
Sure, they might have a higher income, but they did something productive. And these people existed even during Yugoslav socialist era, but just changed their form. They are not looked at like a ruling elite, but rather seen as a (maybe distant) relative (because they probably are in some sense). I have many rich ancestors myself and they didn't want to get involved in politics, but they were still famous because people spoke highly of them. I don't think there is normally that much of a pyramid hierarchy in Bosnia, expect for when it comes to politics, where the capital would be talking in all the net positive that the other regions bring. Like, in socialist Yugoslavia's time it was Belgrade, today it's Sarajevo. That's why some regions want more decentralization.

But regardless of the times, sometimes they are better and sometimes they are worse, some people will still want to get highly educated and earn a decent living, and because of that they will be considered the elite by others, even though it's much more complicated. Like, for instance, from what I have heard of, during socialist Yugoslav regime, it didn't matter what family you were from, you could still attain a very high education and earn just as much as the rich people.

And to make it clear, I do believe in some form of capitalism, because in the end, some people are going to want to go further in development and others are going to want to remain on the same level, and that's sort of where people differentiate themselves. If you wanna do the same thing and not anything new then pick a job that suits your needs, and vice versa for those who want more R&D.

His name is Salih Selimović, and he is declared Muslim Serb. He is from Tešanj in central Bosnia, but he live in Sjenica in Serbia for the long time (in Sjenica Muslims are majority - Sandžakians).
Meša Selimović distant cousin of this historian was also declared Muslim Serb https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Meša_Selimović

It's quite obvious phenotype-wise that he is not "native" to the Sjenica-Pester area, but from Bosnia and as he says, ultimately from Serbian origin.

This is what people from that region look like : https://youtube.com/watch?v=fJUGcwx7...CMiOmarE&t=123 , I think no need to be an anthropology specialist like you Varda to assess the origin of these brothers ;-)

Salih Selimović say that his ancestors were Vujovići from Bileća in Herzegovina, and after islamization they became Selimovići. From Bileća they moved to Bosnia. In Bileća exist surname Vujović among local Orthodox Serbs.

Of course they were Muslim feudal parasites, stealing crops from Serbian farmers.

    But the past is past.

Nowadays most important thing, Serbs in Bosnia-Herzegovina managed to defend themselves from Muslim-Croat aggression and terrorism, and now have ethnic homogeneous Republika Srpska to live happy on their own.

Well, they are so happy that they willingly commit crimes and do shady business.

Give the historical records themselves then.

Dude, the leader of them is a Serb Muslim calling himself a Bosniak (Izetbegovic family). Obviously that's more a problem with Serbs than Bosniaks. But if the army of RS got rid of them, then at least they would be doing something useful.
