    Default The Inquisition

.. deemed as one of the most controversial chapters in European history . .

    - - -

    . . what's your opinion.. ?

Apparently some forces wanted to protect themselves..

Inquisition literally means 'to research , "to sniff into"'..

That's what they used to do... To research for people "outside the box".

Those in favour of the Inquisition were a bloc..

The Church had more power in old times..

The methods they used were quite something... Burning at the stake, brutality, etc

How is this chapter in European history to be seen in your all's opinion ?

Cool .. nobody expects the Spanish inquisition ....

    .. yep , a lot of statistics out there , indeed . .
    - - -

The Inquisition was something unique to Europe in its time . .

The Church in Europe had just established itself over hundreds of years..

In time they apparently became more interested in researching for people who didn't fit into their world-view than waiting for people to snitch . .

Yet, like I said , the Inquisition was something unique to the European world at its time.

The Muslims ( Northern- African Moors ) had actually been on Europe's mainland for a long time during the Middle Ages..

The Inquisition officially started because of "rebellious activities in the south of France" , or so history claims . .

The number of people killed by religious persecution was indeed recorded , it is said . .

However it is also said that the secret files of the Inquisition have been kept hidden/ locked away for long . . .

The Inquisition is basically an interplay between the Papacy, State, and non-Christians in Europe. French Inquisition was a false flag created by the French crown against the Knight Templars (frogs owed them a LOT of money from loans taken out while warring with the English), and Templars were completely obliterated. Roman Inquisition was basically the Church in damage control mode against Protestant Reformation, that made Europe look like spastics and also turned alot of people against the Church.

The Spanish were using it as an excuse to take people's shit because the Crown was broke, they took over all of the victims' possessions upon accusation, when they had you in custody they administered your business and lands and took up to 20% of the profit you gained. Although the 'heretics' the Inquisition went after were Christianized 'converso' Jews pushing doctrines that were intended to cement their position as a separate and superior people over the rest of European Christian society, Inquistion in general does paint a good picture of why Martin Luther did what he did (the Pope is supposed be the Vicar of Christ, not a faggot who tries to play foreign politics by being a corrupt cunt).

The Inquisition surely also lived from people snitching.... They reported these 'misfits' and often the stake would be their end.

If they weren't lynched by a mob already due to people talking about them..

The Church surely had more power in the old times.

The power to form a picture in its peoples' minds.. Quite extreme times . .

Default The INquisition surely didn't grant an EXquisit passing away..

I watched a video the other day on You Tube dealing with somewhat of a question "Burning at the stake.. history most brutal execution method? "..

.. there were really somewhat of eyewitness-testimonies presented ( as 'good' as they could get during those times )

    Boy.

... then I remembered once reading that actually in an area where there were particularly many cases of stake-executions (think it was located in Spain somewhere..) even the wood for stake-executions was starting to run out , so wood had to be transported from two neighbouring cities actually , from their storage , to be able to continue stake- executions in that area.

    Wow..

... history sure has had some malevolent methods of execution.

Tomás de Torquemada... probably one of the most famous inquisitors of all time , and one of the bloodiest...

By the way.. the Inquisition it is said was the most 'busy' in Spain ('busy' in the way that their dealings lasted the longest there)

The Spanish monarchs were never a friend of Protestantism , they allegedly wanted hegemony...

Curiously Torquemada was from a jewish-converso lineage.
