The Cross of the Order of Christ (Portuguese: Cruz da Ordem de Cristo), also known as the Cross of Christ (Cruz de Cristo) or the Portuguese Cross (Cruz Portuguesa), is a cross symbol of Portugal, originating in the Portuguese Order of Christ, founded in 1319. During the time of Prince Henry the Navigator, the cross came to be associated with the Portuguese discoveries and the Portuguese Empire.

I don't know why exactly, but this are symbols that have been seen unpolitically and representative and they were used (f. i. on money, especially coins) in the German Empire as a monarchy, the Weimar republic, the Thrid Reich, the communistic GDR as well as in the FRG till this very day. Just check the smallest euro coins issued by the FRG. So I connect this to Germanhood per se. There is no fixed form for this so the following symbol is just one possibility out of thousands, but nevertheless representaive:

Please note that even the most loved by me German coin, the 50 Pfennig coin of the D-Mark currency shows a German woman that after the destruction of the war is planting - guess what - a new oak tree.
Is that Edelweiß? I have a Edelweiß Pin, but it is broken, When i pin it on my shirt, i lose it quickly... the pin is broken.

Greeks, obviously, but all Orthodox nations of the former ERE (Eastern Roman Empire) are eligible to use them.

Hmm for Poland it could be our highest military decoration for bravery, well connected to history of plenty Polish uprisings and wars since it was developed (1792). I think its shape is not replicated in other countries.
