Men are visual so try to look as cute as you can. Maybe get your hair and make up done, new style, show off your nice features. It might make you appear more confident aswell. But that would only attract him initially and to maintain his attention, I’d say be as genuine as possible. Like you are on here, you seem really nice and down to earth. Men often say they like that. I’m sure you will find someone when you least expect it to, but in the meantime don’t let it get you down or focus solely on finding a partner because it will just make you feel discouraged. And don’t change yourself beyond recognition because no one is worth that.

You sound like a pious person. Pious men know that the beauty of a woman is not in her face or body but in her character. Nowadays a man is married for one thing only though: for his wealth. Impious men and women attract each other. Select the pious and may you be blessed.

If you're focused on more appearance-oriented advice, the most important thing to remember is to use your external self as the canvas of the inner self. This is another thing where really developing and learning to love yourself will naturally fill in some of the gaps. Don't get stuck in the trap of "oh boo hoo this style makes me look bad, im ugly )-:", because not everything will look good on every woman. I spent years seething because I look ridiculous in overly feminine outfits, like anything too pink or ruffley. I crammed my huge shoulders into little pink tea dresses and hated myself for looking masculine in them. It helped me to ACCEPT the shapes, colors, and textures of my body, and to seek styles that compliment my natural look. Surprisingly, I look less feminine dressed like a princess, and more feminine dressed like a medieval peasant. It's all about seeing your body in an objective way, sitting down, and saying, "okay, these are my options, and this is how I'll take advantage of them". Of course, still maintain your figure as much as possible, but do it with a primary focus on health and a secondary focus on appearance. I avoided muscle-building activities for years because I didn't want to further exaggerate my inverted triangle physique, but now that I have (rudimentary) back muscles and biceps, my guy finds me more attractive than before.

I would prefer that the man share at least some interests, be open to experience, be honest, be understanding, and be an inspiration in some sense.

I think you look ok, but i dont know how all the men in Canada in your city perceive you, but a general advice, i think men do not care really much about anything only for look, so i would say work on your look, you are not obese or anything so id say just find new clothes and make up and hair cut, maybe get a plastic surgery, no offense but you seem to have a disfigurement in your jaw or chin and nose or something, i dont remember really that well anymore, but it looked you have a jaw deformation, i have too, but i dont really care that much, except for health reasons, i use a CPAP device and dont get breath when i sleep and the doctor said it is probably because of my jaw deformation, and maybe i will get a appointment with the chirurgy to see if i can have a surgery for it.

I know girls usually dont make the first step, but maybe try to clearly signalise you are interested and try to be approachable, that guys have the balls to approach you, some girls are really attractive but many guys are too scared to approach them.

I agree that the look is very important, and I'm planning on seeing a professional makeup artist. I don't have anything against plastic surgery and would definitely at least consider it if I could afford it. And yes I do have noticeable facial asymmetry which I think I should at least consider getting fixed or minimizing with makeup.

I agree indicating interest could help it might increase my confidence as well.

Take care of your health and appearance without making yourself look vulgar, and foster interests and hobbies that are productive and take you out into the world. No hobbies except for netflix and social media is almost as bad as obesity.

In my experience, archery, tabletop games, various craft hobbies, but some sports can also help you meet new people. Most of the women I've gotten along with who seem to be living happy lives (and most are married now) were somehow artistically involved or doing a craft. If you want to learn a collection of camping skills, sew clothes, and meet a bunch of guys who spend too much money on armour to ever do drugs, try historical reenactment.
