The introversion of Scandinavians are very overrated

Autists themselves are also wrongly perceived as extremely shy and introverted, there are many different kinds of autism as well, some of them are actually very sociable.

Well on most girlish online games I hang around like goSupermodel where you style models the target group is mainly Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Netherlands and Germany. A few Poles and Czechs are also there, I blame our partial Germanic DNA for it.
So my conclusion is that Germanics are into those geeky hobbies of spending time alone. Introvert does not equal shy here, they can be loud and talkative but they just have many hobbies that require alone time.

I agree that the culture have some influence on it, i guess the introverted label can also change in different countries, there are some introverted people in South America that could be considered “extroverted” in Japan to some extent.

Real introverts don’t like to say that they are introvert outside of the virtual world, i struggle alot with dating because of it. I am sometimes even seem as an arrogant person because of my introversion.

I'm introverted but have no problems talking to people or asking questions. The reason why I'm introverted is that I need plenty of time on my own. I gain energy from that and find being in social situations draining. Introversion doesn't mean not be able to socialise. I prefer being on my own if I have a choice.

Do you tend to avoid small talk when you see someone you know outside? Some people even get angry with me when i do it, it is very annoying.

Being introvert doesn't mean not having emotional intelligence or understanding people. It is more to do with whether you gain more stimulation from being with other people or are more introspective and enjoy spending time alone. Would you prefer to spend time reading a good book than going out with friends? You can be an introvert and a good conversationalist for example. A better indication is how much down time you need away from people.
