Back in my leftist days, I got banned from the late stage capitalism sub for posting a comment about how my boss wouldn't let me drink water.

The reason: I was a poster in the conspiracy sub, which triggered an auto-ban.

Apparently the conspiracy sub is considered racist and antisemitic. The thing is, the conspiracy mods delete any post referencing Jews.

It was at that moment that all of modern politics made sense. It was more than a light bulb going off in my head, it was like a power plant starting up.

Reddit has been a shit-show lately. The CEO is actively trying to destroy everything that gave the platform value... and Twitter has turned into one of the worst sites since Musk took over. If you don't have Twitter blue, nobody sees your posts... and it all feels like forum drama where the head moderator is having some kinda mid-life melt down. However, most of us are just along for the ride and do not actually care about Elon.

I just recently got thumbs downed (and up as well too lol) for well deserved and 100% non-offensive comments (unlike this on on here) I posted about this horrible nasty ass piece of shit coworker who was a totally incompetent slut face whore who couldn't do math and manipulated people with her boobs and bullied me, AND was always chanting anti-white shit and how her people were cool instead, but she didn't (and couldn't) do her fucking job at all and tried to blame it on me! She did other bad things but I want to get to the point. My comments on Reddit about this were in a calm and reasonable manner just discussing my concerns with people becoming entitled and acting this way at work and how her behavior was absolutely unprofessional and that people should not get a pass on it for any reason. Even though I got thumbs downed (not surprising for Reddit) someone actually responded in support of me which gave me a glimmer of hope for once lol.

I also remember getting mass thumbs downed for saying that it was stupid and weird that a 23andme relative of mine had in their bio that they are open to requests and want to learn about their ancestry even though they rejected my request and message I sent.....
