Sorry, but geographically Greece is an absolutely European country, but the most territories of Turkey are in Asia (only 3% of the country part of Europe).

I think millions of them looks like totally European, but then again millions of them do not.

Istanbul is European IMO. I would include the Asian side and the metro area because they are not culturally or architecturally different from the European side.
