I did it through FTDNA as well. FTDNA gave me k1a12a, but I joined the haplogroup k project on FTDNA and they told me I was k1a12a4a. Then when I uploaded to yfull it also gave me k1a12a4a.

y-700 is only one way you could research and investigate your clade deeply and find your closer relatives on the same branch, after data analyzing my autosomal dna they have changed my first haplogroup marker to another marker.. i was like wuuuuut??

I'm not sure what you mean about legacy regarding middle east or palestine, but my Ydna appears to be a clade of G specific to some families in the village I am from, potentially from a Roman source, while my mtdna is found among Israeli Druze.
