Question Huguenot Names: Indicators of Huguenot Descendancy?

What is the likelihood you are descended from Huguenots if you have Huguenot names in your lineage?

Mine are Paradise and Devore; what about yours?

I find it interesting that even as a child the ways I thought about the world and God were protestant, though I obviously didn't have the terms to describe them that way. I didn't learn that my views were part of an established theology until I met my protestant husband. It wasn't from family tradition as I was adopted very young, by catholics, and didn't learn of my family names until recently. I have recent catholic lineage too, but I guess the Huguenot blood was stronger (genetically and/or theologically-wise)

Does anyone else have a similar experience? (Huguenot or not)

Interesting topic, I researched about it a whlie ago and found that many were crypto jews (as were many religious "reformers"), I'll post about it later.

Seeing as how they are famous for playing both sides of every issue and co-opting genuine movements, I'd be very surprised if there weren't any.
