I think they are native, but resemble in my eyes like a western branch of the Chechens. The similarities are remarkable. Their looks are also strange for the rest of Balkan peoples, maybe apart from some Romanians. Even for us Greeks who we are non-slavic, they stear apart.

They resemble more the Caucasus peoples, especially the Chechens more than they do to Southern Europes mediteraneans or Eastern European Slavic peoples.

Chechens are similar to the original CHG. Albanians - EEF. I think the first Indo-Europeans looked like a mix of Russians and Chechens. EEF is close to Sardinia.
