    It's the best thing Britain has done in decades. It should always be tied to the rest of the Anglosphere, not unfriendly continentals.

    That's a beautiful story. Except no British Empire 2.0 has come into existence and Canada focusses on the US and Australia and New Zealand on China. Meanwhile, the EU countries made up 85% of British overseas trade.

    India was a former British colony. So they are culturally closer to the UK than the other European countries according to the Anglosphere.
