Circularity and mobility are key features of livable and sustainable cities. This translates into mega projects that require a global approach towards city designs. In this presentation, the case of the Big Link in the city of Antwerp shall be discussed. The story of how the renovation of the city ring road has become a project that is providing integrated solutions for circularity, mobility and connecting districts and citizens through advanced participation in decision making.

This is framed within the advanced knowhow of Flanders in these fields, accelerating towards a circular future.
