As a young child, I was very much obsessed with Star Wars. As a teen, I was very much into LOTR (and Dungeons & Dragons in general, which LOTR and Robert E. Howard's short stories birthed from inspiration).

Five-year-old me with the Millenium Falcon.



LOTR is superior in every way. LOTR is also literature of the highest quality. The LOTR movies I never liked but even with that said, they're better than the Star Wars films, whether we're speaking of the original three movies or all the crap that came out decades later.

Star Wars, I am probably that stereotypical introverted nerd who is only thinking about Star Wars. The Star Wars universe accompanied me since my childhood, but I only like Legends. Disney destroyed many things, I have read books about the stories after VI. Luke became a whiny loser, who the hell are Kylo Ren and Rey, I hate them so much, both are characterless wimps who are an insulting for the Star Wars universe. Liking news Star Wars movies is a red flag for me.
