Why is the German Empire so Demonized in Modern Day Germany?

Everyone is aware of the German Empire and the legacy it left behind, but for some reason, in Germany, the time of the Empire is not really seen as something to behold, rather it is portrayed very negatively? So what is the reason for it?

Its not rocket science. After 1945 and military occupation of Germany, every single government were just puppets of foreigner powers who hated everything what is german and they brainwshed peoples as well.
I dont consider legitimate this current german politial system.

The German Kaiserreich was no different as the British Empire, France, Belgium, Spain or other European nations during that time, and that Germany had nothing to do with the Germany of Hitler.

Both were sucks, but present germans from ex DDR are more patriotic. Seems russians caused much less mental damage than americans. I dont see any russian soldier in Germany either only the US Army.
