The music, TV and films were certainly better then. But many aspects of US politics (both domestic and foreign) were not: bombing Central America and Grenada, the War on Drugs that led to a massive increase in the incarceration rate (and an excuse to intervene in Colombia and Peru in particular), the rise of puritanism both on the Left (radical feminism) and the Right (Christian conservatism - in particular, the hounding of Bill Clinton over the Lewinsky affair).

China is closer to my heart. I like how it developed peacefully over last 40 years. I am fascinated by its culture and philosophy. Maybe I idealize it a bit too much because China seems so different and exotic. They have their own problems and I still very much prefer to live in a countryside in Poland than in some overpopulated city in China. However, I don't buy propaganda that China is all evil, many Poles living in China actually debunk the anti-China propaganda.

US on the other hand is not peaceful, benefited and participated in wars destroying Eurasia, ruling by force and dollar hegemony. American culture is a very shallow culture, egoistic, materialistic, fake. Gun violence, police brutality, what else do I have to say?

The USA is a great country no doubt of it, do not believe in those ideological antagonism propaganda from either communist or capitalist governments, the problem is inside the mode of global marxism that uses conflict to harmonize the upper structures. Kmarx is the most professional liar humanity has ever seen, he worked for both types of ideological blocs by engineering an elaborate half-truth about history and economy. But there are evil people as well as great people, only people like me know how to deal with the evil people, just let them fit into the ideological backgrounds and treat them as just ordinary people, it is the best for everyone to do thus since they will always automatically sink into the traps set by the elites and you can easily identify them when you know light from the greatness of people.

China has too many problems unawared of by their own people, this is the real and the greatest problem of chinese people, a very unique situation in the entire world. China lacks the idea of spiritual hygiene, which is the detection of vile lies by each independent civilian. It feels like an annoying family with spoiled kids and indulgent and rude parents causing troubles everywhere for a very long time, even in the entire known history of their existence. Any other countries like hallucinating India or doping USA, however aggressive and deceptive on the international arena, they do not and can not cover everything up to their people that is also why they would always seem to fail in their global propaganda compared to China. I deeply understand all your confusions and choices. Anyway China is not an immigration open country, it is 10X easier to migrate to the Americas.

Pretty much this but sometimes the schools try to input it so it is your job to smash it. Also it is the job of a man to teach his kids the truth. Not going to lie my childhood in the 60-70s where a lot freer in some ways but today our state has much better gun laws.
