Why are white people (of European descent) called "Caucasian" if Caucasus region is located in Asia?

The group of Europeans in the beginning mostly stand compactly under the roof. The woman in the red dress too. The woman at 3:09 looks to me rather Circassian with a possible Asian admixture. I can't tell the woman at 3:39. The woman at 0:34 looks Circassian.
I don't see much of Russian admixture here. Maybe in very few people at most. Europeans look non-Russian too.

All the girls you named have a Turanian appearance. If that's what Russians look like to you, then you definitely need to visit Russia, just not a big city of course.

I think it was first associated with the skull name and then they decided to adopt that name because at the time in the US there was only few ethnicities. They wanted to pass race laws and decide to use the term Caucasian. Everyone is influenced by the US so the world started using that term

I zoomed the woman at 3:09 and she indeed looks Asian. I said she could be Circassian because it was a Circassian because they have a share of Mongoloid admixtured people too and because the wedding was Circassian. One thing is certain: the case of her phone had words in Latin script.

It's not only in USA. In most of Latin American and European countries (as well as Australia and New Zealand), people who belong to "white race" (native European people, or people of full European descent) are considered "Caucasian" in their census. That's what I don't understand, looks kinda bizarre.
