If the abuse was as bad as he paints it in that post, Richy would have moved out decades ago when he was a young adult. The abuse seems to be scolding him for not making a contingency plan if his music career didn't work out or even supporting himself in the meantime.
His father was in his forties when they had him. He was in his sixties when Richy came of age.
Put yourself in the shoes of a 60+-year-old man who is still supporting an adult son who refuses to take on any adult responsibilities.
