Gypsies are different groups themselves. There is a minority among them who is lighter. The Gabori from Transylvania comes to mind.
Sometimes one can spot a fair skin, light haired, light eyed Gypsy. Or Gypsies with dark hair but light eyes. Still they are their own population. And the facial features are distinct.

It's hard to think about the future without thinking of a "rereunification" with Romania, however with the current scenario it seems rather unlikely, transnistria and opposing ethnic minorities, maybe in the future generations.
