If you're overweight it's because you aren't burning as much calories as you take in, wether you dont burn as much calories because genetics or hormones is another topic, point is you arent burning as much as you take in which means you need to cut down. Didn't you say you have chronic fatigue? I remember you saying you sleep alot which means your calorie burning rate is definitley going to less than the average reasonably fit young guy (which is who the 2500 calorie a day rule is made for).

Try One Meal A Day, that's what I'm doing. Although I probably burn more calories than you since I'm not really an endomorph and I dont sleep/nap as much anymore. Well it doesn't work for everyone but it works for me since I find it easier to not overeat when I've made the decision to not eat all until tomorrow after my first meal than to try to not overeat for 2-3+ meals.

Also don't really listen to those skinny people that say "i eat alot and dont gain weight". No you dont. I have 3 very skinny friends who say they "eat alot" and dont gain weight, and I've out-ate 2 of them by a huge margin literally every single time there's been food. And I dont even eat a huge amount (I eat on the larger side of the spectrum, like 2.7-3.0k calories if I dont care about my diet) really most very thin people (who arent athletes or manual laborers) who claim to eat a lot really only eat average or a bit above average. My one skinny friend who actually eats alot and is still lean is actually a natural freak athlete and very strong for his size (leg presses 600lbs with no training and can move super fast), yeah he actually eats alot, most who use that claim are not like this though
I don't think age matters that much. I had trouble losing weight in my 20s.

Few years alter... it's almost 2024 and you're still obese and coping.

Great, when was the last time you decided to run two 5k's in a day, instead of only one?

The point is, it won't get easier with time passing.

How has your understanding of weight loss, metabolism, dieting, and exercise been working for you?

What you "think" doesn't seem to translate into actual results.

Maybe you should stop pretending to know what you are doing.

There is something more at work here. Check out this "lean and fit" video that was uploaded over the weekend. Starting around the 2-minute mark shows an abnormal relationship with food.

Considering your current size, that is kind of middling progress for eight weeks.

It’s a good start! Now keep upping your activity and lowering your calories and you’ll lose more and feel healthier.

It does seem to highlight an abnormal and disturbing relationship with food.
