Nice. Still looks to be small electricy bases sauna & sauna heater. Just for your information, there are even much better saunas in Finland. The wood heated sauna heaters are already ''better'', not to talking about the real original dark smoke sauna:

Wow, you took some beautiful photos! Did you use a smartphone camera or a real one?

Thanks! I just used my iPhone camera. Sometimes they turn out really well, and sometimes you can definitely tell it’s from an iPhone (mostly depending on the light)

The wood heated sauna of my parents also darkened a lot after some 40 years of usage, but an intentional smoke sauna I've never seen. From my unintentionally experienced smoke leaks I'm not sure if that's particularly pleasant. Also considering the lungs.

It is own ''ritual'' to heat/warm a smoke sauna (you can easily burn it if doing things wronly).... but of course you will need to get smoke away, (air) before you will step in. These sauna heaters have lots of weight/stone (300kg to 1000kg ... sometimes even more). As you have first heated it (which takes time), then you can easily keep the door open for awhile to get the air changed/smoke away and then step into sauna.

How does the smoke emerge? Is it from the wood fire or something else (maybe burnt on the stones)?
