    He does not look Germanic to me he looks very Amerindian in the cheeks. Amerindians actually can have similar metrics to borrebies because of the cheekbone width as well as the long and broad skulls. There are actually amerindian groups who have longer and broader skulls than borrebies, but lower as well.

    Metrically though I wouldn't doubt if he's right around the borreby measurements.

    He gives me Amerindian vibes, but not because of the cheekbones, more the shape of the eyes, he has eyes very similar to the man on the plate, and was also supposedly blond, his nickname was "Diabo Louro" which means "The Blonde Devil", he was also described as a man with a strong physique:

    "He was known for his beauty, his athletic physique and long hair, which gave him a pleasant appearance, in addition to his great physical strength. For these reasons he was nicknamed Diabo Louro, when he joined Lampiăo's gang."

    And yes, there are Amerindians with very robust skulls like the Patgonids and a type called "Lagoa Santa" that is very common among Brazilian Amerindians:
