Do you love your "people"?
Since some american White nationalist radio guy came up with the idea a few years ago, I've noticed a lot of us have started referring to our race as our people.
I can't find who it was, but the idea at the time struck me as a brilliant tactic in this psychological war we are in. I adhered to it immediately as did everyone else.
We used to say the white race. Instead of claiming our race as our own we objectified it. This objectification repels sympathy. If anyone remembers the radio announcer that came out with this I'll be grateful, I'd like to hear more from him.
The thing is, white people are very modern and the idea of us , in the colonies especially, referring to ourselves and other white countrymen as my people doesn't really feel honest in our modern secular lifestyles.
As we all know, for European people, our people are really only our immediate families, similarly to the ancient neanderthals.
I will continue to use the term, my people, when I can stomach it because it's tactically important.
Do I love "my people"? No. I don't. I realise that most people in the world are bullys and cowards. In Australia, it is a national trait that people are unwittingly proud of.
This may be a world wide trait but the only other people I've noticed it to be so heavily ingrained in are the Irish. All the Europeans(from Europe) I've met have been delightful.
Having a look at the Emma tram girl video you'll notice it's one of her own people(Another British woman) who ultimately takes her to task, and probably the ones who rang the coppers were White British too. So it isn't just here in Australia that people are rotten.
