How would you redraw the European borders?

I like Poles - Pole and Hungarian two good friends - but I have to agree with Leliana that the border changes after WW2 were quite unfair for Germany.
Danzig (Gdanks) and Prussia should be German.
Galicia (Galicija / Halicz) should be taken away from Ukraine and given to Poland, as a compensation for the loss of Prussia. Also, Belarus should be annexed by Poland as well.
That way, we could have both Greater Poland and Greater Germany at the same time.

I don't really care, though. I think the borders are pretty much fine as they are right now, but I wouldn't mind if Flanders would join the Netherlands.

Why would Poland need Kresy? Most of these were not originally ethnic Polish lands, although some regions have had Polish majority. Why should Poles want them back politically? It would only mean one thing - more resentmens and more enmity. Poland does not need that. That the East is undemocratic and sometimes treats minorities like crap, that's another story.

A split by ethnic majority would seem objective provided that both countries played a relatively similar roles in the union. But that was not the case. Poland was the stronger and the politically dominant side and the Polish culture was the high culture since XVIth century. I think Poles dont need nor even want Polesie or Wołyń and they certainly need no more border disputes with their Eastern neighbours.

Europe is made of different nations.
More political stability? BULLSHIT! There would be Nationalist riots, or even Civil War all over Europe.
The very idea of uniting Europe is what causes wars. Pan-Europanism is nothing but the dream of the fools and the excuse used by imperialists.
Even today, Basques and Catalans have not given up the idea and hope of an independent Basque Country and Catalonia.
Even today, Bretons in France have not given up the idea and hope of an independent Brittany.
Even today, Irish people from Northern Ireland want Northern Ireland to be part of Ireland, not of the UK.
Even today, Kurds in Iraq and Turkey have not given up the idea and hope of an independent Kurdistan.

A Pan-European state would end up like the Soviet Union.
There would be constant turmoil, and they would have to use brute force to crack down all the dissent.
Thus, it could end up like the Soviet Union or Yugoslavia, where one ethnicity (Russians / Serbs) dominating over everyone else, and oppressing everyone else.
Would you want that?

An American should shut up when it comes to Europe.
Americans are not European, but I am European.
I know better what it means to be European, and what Europe is truly like.
We don't want a bunch of non-Europeans to tell us how things should work in Europe.
