If going by the archaeological record this brachycephalic, euryprosopic and (mainly)endomorphic phenotype may be the indigenous race of northern Europe.

During the late neolithic or more specifically the corded ware culture, the original population was largely replaced by less extreme CM varieties and the old Nordic archetype; the determinant of sexual selection being a strong advantage for the 'Aurignacian' Nordic man.

These two men are Icelandic. In my experience, here pure individuals constitute a substantial minority

Now that's what I call Borreby:

Clearly looks Eastern Borreby or a Borreby inspired West-Baltid, but not technically Borreby, due rather overtly broad, flattened, and softened framework.

It seems some Borrebys incline towards a West-Baltid look, and vise versa, with a few pure Eastern Borreby elements, which have a common relation with the Balkan Borreby.

The Balkan Borreby tend to be more typically Borreby, but has a broader framework than the average Western Borreby.

borreby is a phenotype just like North Atlantid, Hallstat, Keltic Nordic, Norid and etc are. It falls under the Cro-Magnoid family/classification of phenotypes.
